Voice Actor - Casting Call
by Administrator on Jun.22, 2009, under 2010 Production
A casting call for voice actors went out today. While Ron Hammond will join us again as Edgar, the parts of the policemen have been expanded and are open to all. The script/storyboard is in final review, allowing us to record in a few weeks.
Ron and I are working on how to bring the most out of Edgar’s voice. I am very excited about a couple of approaches. With Ron’s vocal range and voice talent, we are definitely going to come out with something very dynamic and powerful. When completed, Ill share a couple of clips on the blog…

Would be interested in doing Voice-Over work if you ever need a woman. Live in Aptos & have been acting (community theater) in area for 20 years.
Would be glad to come in and audition for you.
Thanks for your time - Karen

Glad to hear, neighbor.
For the following productions, it is highly likely that we will either create the Black and/or The Fall of the House of Usher…both of which have female parts.
You might want to check in on the blog once and a while, as I will solicit requests for future Poe productions.
In the meantime, I will add you to the fan list to keep you in the loop on announcements (releases and production starts).

After weeks of practice, today we recorded the voice overs for The Tell-Tale Heart…and the Raven (the next production). The voice actors were excellent!!! All brought their a-game and put on an spectacular performance, which I am proud to weave into the animation.
I am sure all who get this DVD will enjoy the great voice acting in this picture.
Great job Ron, John, Eddie, and Ricardo!

Spent the last two days going through the 5 hours of recordings…indexing, ratings, and soon shuffling and compling the final dialog from the recordings.
Naturally, there will be some post production adjustments…balance (right left based on camera location), reverb (for the large room shots), etc.
I am looking forward to having hearing the best of the best lines blended into one sweet narrative and dialog. Ooops, was that a spoiler?
Dialog, in The Tell-Tale Heart?
Don’t worry. I am staying “True…very very” true to the story…In fact, almost every line is Poe’s own words.
