Teacher’s Bundle

Teacher’s Bundle:
The education community found the trailer very helpful for usage in their classrooms, apparently also with acclaim from the students. With this in mind, I am dedicating a package specifically for the education system, targeting the needs of middle school literature/English teachers. This package will not only provide the students with film to enjoy but also resource for teachers further their absorption and interest of The Tell-Tale Heart and Edgar Allan Poe.:
- DVD with the unabridged and abridged versions of the story, to adjust the violence if desired by the teacher.
- Multiple online teacher lesson plans around the story/production to select.
- Forums for teacher and student discussions.
- Entertaining online quizzes about the story/production.
- Interesting insight about and history of The Tell-Tale Heart and Poe.
- Visual stills for class discussion.
- The making of the production.
- Teach feedback forms and input for the next production.

The price is not set yet. However, I am considering prices around $17 for the Teacher’s Bundle (DVD and Online Resources&Interaction)…less for regular DVD.

The Teacher’s Bundle will have two versions of the production on the DVD, one optimized for computer monitors/LCDs and a second optimized for TV’s.

Hi,
I am a teacher in Riverside, CA and I am currently reading Tell-Tale with my high school juniors. I am deaf and so are my students and I was wondering if you will be captioning your upcoming Tell-Tale film? Will it be on DVD and when will it be released? I am anxious to see it!

I am finishing it up in the next few weeks…
I have been investigating closed caption (requires a special application which I have not acquired yet). If this is problematic or is going to cause a time delay, would an optional version on the DVD with the text actually on the film at the base of the screen work for you?

Thanks for a quick response. Yes, subtitling the film at the base of the screen would work. It would also be nice to add the background sound in parenthesis, so we know what is being heard such as the increasing heart beat sound, the little groan of the old man, etc. Very exciting. I’m looking forward to your film. Thanks again for a quick response.
